Day 6 (Finally a good day)

We must confess that until today, this trip has been very stressful and unenjoyable. today we are setting out for Skagen, the tip of Denmark, and will come back down to the west to end and Hirtshals.

We stopped at a cafe in Skagen and got a cafe and a danish. The Danish are known for their danishes and we know why, this is the best danish I have ever had! It is covered in a carmel syrup in the bottom like a carmel apple.
We have now hit the coast. We will never be too far until we hit France. Their is no one here and the sand is perfect.

 This is where we are.

So we got really off tract and ended up going down a highway for about 30 minutes. We finally pulled over and realized we were on the wrong road and had to back-tract about 3 miles

We really good not have picked a better time. The weather is perfect for riding, just a little cool so that we don't sweat too much

Almost done for the day and found this scene!

This is where we had dinner tonight. We did 40 miles today, we will have to start doing a lot more if we want to stay of schedule. All in all this was the best day we have had so far, no ferries, planes, or trains to deal with; no waiting hours and hours to get moving; this trip has finally begun.
